Ron Peterman Mayor Ron Peterman grew up on a farm near Sharpsburg, Iowa, later moving to another farm near Bedford from which he graduated high school. Ron went to Northwest Missouri State University graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agri-Business, then joined the Missouri Army National Guard in Maryville and was a member of that unit for 9 years. In early 1980 Ron bought my home in Shambaugh and has resided since that time. Ron was first elected to the city council in 1992 and remained on the council until 2000 at which time he filled in the resigning Mayors position. In June of 2000 Ron was officially appointed Mayor and has Mayor since 2000. He has seen many changes in Shambaugh over the years and the coming and going of many new faces and found it to be a great place for his wife and himself to raise their three children. |
Sandra L. Bilokonsky City clerk/manager Sandra Bilokonsky has been city clerk since May of 2018, her background has been very diverse. She as not only been a legal assistant, youth tech lab instructor overseas but also have worked as a make up artist/creative director in the world in fashion/film industry. She also have been a long time volunteer and once held the title of VP for a non profit. Sandra's family is one of the early settlers of Shambaugh, however left shortly after WWII. Sandra is very excited to serve Shambaugh Iowa after living around the world. Sandra has a warm personality and believes that every member in the city is important. Sandra is a Notary as well, which is FREE service offered by the city. |
Sam Woodruff WAter/maint. Sam Woodruff has lived in Shambaugh for over 50 plus years. He has served in the past on the city council, fire department and as Mayor. At the present time he is serving as water and sewer superintendent/operator. He has held that position for over 30 years and maintenance for 5 years. |
